Emmy-winning producer Rick Ringbakk, along with his producing partner, Craig Armstrong, co-founded 10Fold in 2017. Currently serving as 10Fold’s Co-Founder, Ringbakk’s passion for adventure and his desire to find real, human stories has led him to film in more than 60 countries on six continents over the course of his career. Together, Ringbakk and Armstrong create television that celebrates the individual (nerd and hero alike) and motivates viewers to better themselves through entertainment.
Previously in 2009, Ringbakk together with Craig Armstrong (10Fold’s other founding member) founded 5X5 Media. Most notably, series’ executive produced by Ringbakk include the highly successful King of the Nerds for TBS, Wake Up Call and The Hero with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, both for TNT; Fashion Star for NBC; and Bet on Your Baby for ABC.
Prior to 10Fold, Ringbakk served as an unscripted independent producer of series, specials and event television for more than 15 years. He produced multiple seasons of the genre-busting reality hit The Amazing Race, competition portions of the 1996 Atlanta and 1998 Nagano Olympic Games, as well as Celebrity Circus (NBC) and Paradise Hotel (FOX), among others. His passion for adventure and the desire to find real, human stories has led him to film in more than 60 countries on six continents over the course of his career.
A two-time Emmy winner for his work on The Amazing Race, Ringbakk also was twice nominated for a PGA Award for Producer of the Year.
Ringbakk began his career began in documentary and wildlife programming, spending five years producing numerous specials for Paramount Pictures, Discovery and TLC. He’s produced hundreds of hours of television for networks including CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, The CW, UPN, MTV and Discovery.
