One of the most prolific producers in reality TV, Chris Coelen runs Kinetic Content, which boasts a slate which has included a string of buzz-worthy hits in every non-scripted genre: ground-breaking social experiments Married At First Sight and Seven Year Switch (Lifetime); real-estate transformation Buying It Blind (Bravo); event relationship series The Spouse House (TLC); eight iterations of the highly-rated Little Women docu-series franchise (Lifetime); cooking competitions such as The Taste (ABC) and Man vs. Master (fyi); hidden-camera hit Betty White’s Off Their Rockers (NBC), weight-loss competition My Diet Is Better Than Yours (ABC) and game shows Geeks Who Drink (SyFy) and You Deserve It (ABC). For Coelen, Kinetic is the latest in a remarkable string of start-ups. As CEO he launched RDF USA, where he produced 35 series over four years including Secret Millionaire (ABC), Wife Swap (ABC), and Don’t Forget the Lyrics (Fox). Prior to that he founded and ran the Alternative and International Television division at United Talent Agency (UTA), where he was a partner. Previously, he founded and ran the Alternative Department at Agency for the Performing Arts (APA). Coelen began his career in a start-up at Fox Television, where he quickly became a producer.
