For Coelen, Kinetic is the latest in a remarkable string of start-ups. As CEO he launched RDF USA, where he produced 35 series over four years including Secret Millionaire (ABC), Wife Swap (ABC), and Don’t Forget the Lyrics (Fox). Prior to that he founded and ran the Alternative and International Television division at United Talent Agency (UTA), where he was a partner. Previously, he founded and ran the Alternative Department at Agency for the Performing Arts (APA). Coelen began his career in a start-up at Fox Television, where he quickly became a producer.
