Talpa Fictie in the Netherlands has secured the rights to a third season of Red Arrow International’s successful dramedy series “Danni Lowinski”. Seasons 1 and 2 of the Dutch remake drew fantastic ratings on SBS6 – with the premiere episode doubling the slot average, and since then, viewer numbers have continued to soar.

Based on the German series of the same name, local versions of “Danni Lowinski” have been broadcast across the world, including in Russia and Belgium. The latest season aired in Germany drew in ratings up to 146% above the Sat.1 channel average and Season 5 is set to air later this year. Danni also crushed the competition in Belgium, breaking Flemish channel VTM’s record for the year in 2012 and being commissioned for a second season after only 2 episodes.

Tim Gerhartz, Senior Sales and Acquisitions Manager Benelux, says: “Danni Lowinski has a fantastic track record across the world, and the production of yet another season is proof of this success. I am really excited to see where she goes next!”
