Munich, April 12, 2007. SevenOne International, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s worldwide programming sales company, has sold Sat.1’s telenovela “Love is in the Air” to Italian TV station Canale 5. The show will run Mondays through Fridays at 4.15 pm starting April 16, 2007 under the Italian title “Cuori tra le nuvole,” or “Hearts in the Clouds.” Canale 5, a Mediaset Company, has bought all 123 episodes of the telenovela, and will be showing a dubbed version of the German production.
Says Jens Richter, Managing Director of SevenOne International: “‘Love is in the Air’ is the second ProSiebenSat.1 Group telenovela to make an international debut this year. ‘That´s Life’ has been running in France since the beginning of the year, with sensational audience shares of up to 52.9 percent. We hope ‘Love is in the Air’ will meet with an equally enthusiastic response on Canale 5.”
