SAT.1 has commissioned Redseven Entertainment‘s new social experiment format 5 Senses for Love – Heirate Dein Blind Date (5 Senses for Love – Marry Your Blind Date), and the show is currently in production.
In this original new dating show, singles get to know each other with almost all of their senses: they can smell each other, hear each other’s voices, touch and taste each other… but participants are only allowed to see each other when they have agreed to marry.
Will the experiment lead to multiple weddings and happy-ever-afters? And how much does appearance really matter after getting to know each other sensually?
5 Senses for Love is produced by Redseven Entertainment for SAT.1 in Germany. Redseven also produce relationship series Married at First Sight for SAT.1, which is set to return for its seventh season next month with a live wedding special, and cooking competition The Taste, which recently finished its eighth season.
The format for 5 Senses for Love will be distributed worldwide by Red Arrow Studios International.
