Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy, Bates Motel) is joining the cast of Fabrik Entertainment’s Bosch, the longest-running Amazon Prime Original drama series, for season five. Hurst will play Hector Bonner, a former client of attorney Honey Chandler (Mimi Rogers), currently working as her investigator.
Ryan Hurst’s credits include playing “Opie Winston” in FX’s smash hit Sons of Anarchy, the starring role of “Chick Hogan” in A&E’s Bates Motel; series regular “L’il Foster” on WGN’s highest rating series, Outsiders, a recurring series regular role on NBC’s Emmy award-winning Medium, series regular roles on TNT’s King & Maxwell and the action-drama Wanted, and a starring role in Steven Spielberg’s miniseries Taken for SyFy.
Hurst’s film credits include his breakout performance opposite Denzel Washington in Disney’s highly successful Remember the Titans, Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan, the Coen brothers’ The Ladykillers with Tom Hanks, We Were Soldiers with Mel Gibson, Patch Adams with Robin Williams, Rules of Engagement with Samuel L. Jackson and Disney’s animated feature Rango with Johnny Depp.
Season four of Bosch premiered in April 2018, and has over 90% 5-star audience reviews. Bosch is distributed worldwide by Red Arrow Studios International.
Based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels, the hour-long series Bosch stars Titus Welliver (Lost) as homicide Detective Harry Bosch, Jamie Hector (The Wire) as Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino (Being Human) as Lt. Grace Billets, Madison Lintz (The Walking Dead) as Maddie Bosch and Lance Reddick (The Wire) as Deputy Chief Irvin Irving.
Bosch is produced by Fabrik Entertainment, a Red Arrow Studios company. The series was developed for television by Eric Overmyer (Treme, The Wire, Homicide: Life on the Streets) and is executive produced by Daniel Pyne (Backstabbing For Beginners, Fracture, The Manchurian Candidate), Overmyer, Henrik Bastin (The 100 Code, American Odyssey, The Comedians), Pieter Jan Brugge (Heat, The Insider, The Clearing), John Mankiewicz, Connelly, Henrik Pabst, Jan David Frouman and Elle Johnson. Welliver also serves as Producer.
