New Red Arrow International dating format “Kiss Bang Love” has been greenlit by FYI™ in the US.

Production begins immediately on ten one-hour episodes of the international format, produced by Red Arrow Entertainment Group company Kinetic Content, the producers of A&E and FYI show “Married at First Sight USA”.

The series is hosted by “Married at First Sight” relationship and communication expert Rachel DeAlto, who will provide guidance and advice to the singles throughout the experiment.

Each episode will follow a new man or woman as they meet ten potential mates and ultimately choose their favorite based on kissing while blindfolded, associated sensory perceptions, and intimate conversations. Two final matches will go on romantic dates before a final decision is made.

“FYI continues to pioneer and re-invent the relationship genre,” said Gena McCarthy, EVP of Programming and Development, FYI. “In ‘Kiss Bang Love,’ we explore whether blind physical chemistry can pre-determine romantic success.”

Henrik Pabst, Managing Director of Red Arrow International, said: “’Kiss Bang Love’ is one of those formats that has just cut through immediately, and is really shaking up the love and dating genre. This kind of noisy social experiment is increasingly in demand by broadcasters, and we are delighted that American audiences will be able to experience the show on FYI.”

“Kiss Bang Love” launched at MIPCOM 2016 and has already sold to over 10 territories including ProSieben Germany, Seven Network Australia, TV3 Denmark, and Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Finland.

“Kiss Bang Love USA” is produced by Kinetic Content for FYI. Chris Coelen and Sam Dean are executive producers for Kinetic Content. Gena McCarthy, Liz Fine and Toby Faulkner serve as executive producers for FYI.

Red Arrow International distributes the format worldwide.

More About “Kiss Bang Love”

“Kiss Bang Love” is the provocative new dating format from the creators of “Married at First Sight”.

A group of single people looking for love agree to take part in a radical new TV experiment. Research shows that the physical act of kissing is a powerful tool in our search for the right partner. “Kiss Bang Love” puts this to the test by skipping awkward dates and trusting chemistry to find the love of your life. In each episode one singleton enters a simple studio setting and kisses a group of single guys or girls. Blindfolded.

They are selected by relationship experts and friends of the single person. Most are strangers. Some are acquaintances. Others may be former lovers.

After choosing the five best kisses, they meet again for a second kiss. This time without the blindfold. Now looks and first impressions also count. They then have to select two of the five for a crucial part of the experiment: in a luxury hotel our participant will spend one night with each of the two partners. Two nights. Two dates. Designed to be intimate, romantic and seductive. But will their dates go off with a bang?

After the two dates it is time for the final decision. Who will they choose to take on a romantic holiday? And will a kiss from a stranger end in love?

“Kiss Bang Love” is created by Snowman Productions Denmark and originally produced by Snowman Productions Denmark for TV3 Denmark and RedSeven Entertainment for ProSieben.
