Leading Israeli production company, July August Productions, swept the Israeli Academy Awards winning four awards on Friday.
• Best Documentary Series: “The Kibbutz”
• Best Game Show: “Still Standing”
• Best Script in a Drama Series: “Ananda”
• Best Actress in a Drama Series: Dana Modan (“Ananda”)
Established in 2003, the prestigious Israeli Academy Television Awards – the Israeli equivalent of The Emmy Awards – honor the best original television creations of the year.
July August is led by Managing Directors Lisa Shiloach and Eilon Ratzkovsky, both highly respected and successful players in the Israeli TV and film industry. Lisa’s 20 years’ experience incorporates TV production, including dramas, entertainment programs, game shows, documentaries, and the development of original TV formats such as “Still Standing” and “The Frame”. Eilon is credited with some of the most successful films and drama series produced in Israel, achieving international rewards for “The Band’s Visit”, “The ‘A’ Word”, “Champagne Spy”, the Israeli version of “The Office”, and many others.
