• Reunion special premieres March 5 on Netflix’s YouTube Channel
  • Finale Episode of Love is Blind premieres tonight, Feb 27

Netflix has announced a reunion special for its global hit show Love is Blind, produced by Kinetic Content.

The reunion special will feature the show’s Atlanta-based participants, along with hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey, and will premiere March 5 on Netflix’s YouTube channel.

The announcement comes ahead of the premiere of the finale episode of Love is Blind today, February 27, on Netflix.

The special promises to answer burning questions such as which couples are still together; whether any participants have any regrets; what it was like to watch the show unfold in real life; and why certain unexpected twists and revelations happened.

The show’s two-hour finale premiered February 27 on Netflix, with the platform having streamed the show over three weeks from February 13.

The show’s premiere has coincided with Netflix rolling out globally their new Top 10 feature, which are updated daily to reveal what’s popular in each country. Love is Blind is currently the number one series on the service in multiple territories around the world including the United States, the UK, Germany, Australia and Canada.

The show has enjoyed an unprecedented level of media attention, and celebrity endorsements including showrunner Shonda Rhimes: “So a show gets me addicted then makes me wait for new episodes only on Thursdays? Karma is a b#tch.”

The 10-episode series is executive produced by Chris Coelen, Sam Dean, Ally Simpson, Eric Detwiler and Brian Smith for Kinetic Content.

In Love is Blind, singles who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating where they hope to meet the person they want to spend the rest of their lives with…without ever having seen them.

With no distractions from the outside world, the singles talk to a stream of potential love interests and when a meaningful connection is made, they propose and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Engaged and back in the real world, as the couples plan their wedding day, they will quickly discover whether they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one before the fast-approaching ceremony. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, this addictive 10-part series will uncover whether looks, race or age do matter, or if love really is blind.

Kinetic Content produces an impressive range of stand-out programming including Lifetime’s top-rated series, the groundbreaking Married at First Sight, which is in its tenth season and attracting series-high ratings; Friends Speak, which has been the highest-rated program on Reelz for each of the past two years; Lifetime’s number two and number three highest-rated series, the highly successful Little Women: Atlanta and Little Women: LA; the worldwide smash Seven Year Switch, with three seasons on Lifetime in the US, plus localized versions in territories around the globe; Discovery’s much buzzed-about Man vs. Bear; Bravo’s Spy Games; and Lifetime’s Bride & Prejudice: Forbidden Love, which launched its second season on Lifetime yesterday, February 26, and has already spawned a hit localized version in Australia. Kinetic’s Netflix phenomenon Love is Blind drops its highly-anticipated finale episode today, February 27.
