Season 6 of Married at First Sight UK, produced by CPL Productions, rounded out the series on Monday night (October 4) by continuing the season’s run of strong ratings.

Following on from the success of the premiere (Monday, August 30) – the most-watched show on multi-channel TV in the UK and E4’s strongest launch ever – the series grew its audience across the series, with the finale drawing a rating of 1.19, and an impressive market share of 7%. The most-watched episode of the series, episode 13 (Monday, September 20) attracted a rating of 2.19, and an incredible 8.1% market share.

Across the season, the average market share of 5.7% – more than three times E4’s 280,000 (1.7%) slot average.

Married at First Sight UK also performed well across Channel 4’s VOD platform All4, with the catch up service pulling in an average audience of 1,129,000 across the 7 days following broadcast.
