Channel 4 in the UK has announced that Season Four of Married at First Sight, produced by CPL Productions, will premiere at 9pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
This year over 7,000 people contacted Married at First Sight UK, keen to permanently change their relationship status from ‘single’ to ‘married’. Putting their trust in science and a panel of experts, they signed up for the chance of a match and the possibility of marrying someone they will only meet seconds before saying ‘I do’.
In the new UK season, the two couples heading down the aisle are Nurse, Steph, and Property Manager, Jonathan, and Office Manager, Verity and IT consultant, Jack.
The Married at First Sight format is created and produced by Snowman Productions in Denmark for DR3/DR1, and is distributed worldwide by Red Arrow Studios International, with local productions in over 29 territories worldwide.
Season Eight of the US version of Married at First Sight, produced by Kinetic Content, is currently enjoying a high-rating run on Lifetime (US), playing Tuesday nights.
