Nine in Australia has announced that Married at First Sight Australia will return for a brand new season on Monday, January 31.

Season nine will see a new group of brides and grooms – matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla – meet for the first time on their wedding day.

The final episode of Married at First Sight Australia season eight, which aired April 18, was the highest rated show of 2021, generating a huge 56% share for Nine across all key demos.

The Married at First Sight format is created and produced by Snowman Productions for DR and distributed worldwide by Red Arrow Studios International. The show is one of the world’s most successful relationship formats, with productions in 30 countries.
