July August Productions has won a total of seven awards at this year’s Israeli Film & Television Academy television awards, held on Wednesday, April 29.

July August picked up the award for Best Docu Reality Series for 80 and 4, the hit local version of multi-award-winning global format Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds, originally produced by CPL Productions for Channel 4 in the UK, and distributed by Red Arrow Studios International.

They also picked up Best Factual for You Can’t Ask That; and The Chase won Best Game Show for the third consecutive year in a row.

Popular Israeli children’s show The Tree House Bunch won awards in four categories including Best Director, Best Script Writer, Best Comedy Actor for Kids and Best Kids Series.

July August Productions were recently commissioned by KAN Israel to produce a brand new daily show for older people called We Are Here Together. Hosted by Rinat Spivak, the 50 minute daily show features celebrities and real people in their homes, with advice and entertainment for people dealing with home isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Established in 2003, the prestigious Israeli Academy Television Awards – Israel’s equivalent of The Emmy Awards – honor the best original television creations of the year.
