Henrik Bastin, CEO of Fabrik Entertainment, has extended his executive contract with the production company, agreeing to a multi-year renewal with the Red Arrow subsidiary.

LA-based Fabrik Entertainment has been part of Red Arrow Entertainment Group since 2011, and was Red Arrow’s first strategic investment in the US scripted market. The company has since enjoyed continued success, including scoring Amazon’s first original drama, “Bosch”, based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling Harry Bosch book series. Season 3 launched on Amazon last week and the series has already been renewed for a fourth season.

Currently, Fabrik is developing multiple US projects, including drama pilot “The Deep Mad Dark” for TNT, a new series for FX based on the award-winning book “Ancillary Justice”, “The Limit” for AMC, and “Midnights” for USA Network. Fabrik is also working on international co-productions with Red Arrow’s distributor, Red Arrow International, the most recent project being the thriller “Embassy Down”, co-produced with Red Arrow International and MTG Studios. “Embassy Down” is written by award-winning Danish screenwriter Anders Frithiof August and will go into production in summer 2017.

Jan Frouman, Chairman & CEO of Red Arrow Entertainment Group, said: “Our partnership with Fabrik has been one of our smartest moves to date. It put us on the map in the US scripted market, and has served as an amazing catalyst for our international distribution business. None of that would have been possible without Henrik. The guy is a force of nature – relentlessly fighting for the success of the business. Fabrik couldn’t be in better hands.”

Henrik Bastin, CEO of Fabrik Entertainment, added: “Red Arrow is from top to bottom filled with great people. They are not only nice and smart but also as ambitious as they come. Jan and his team have been fantastic partners, always prepared to take big bets and swings when needed. It’s an honor to be a part of it!”

Fabrik’s previous highlights include “The Killing” (AMC), “Burn Notice” (USA), “American Odyssey” (NBC), “100 Code” (HBO Nordic) and “The Comedians” (FX), starring Billy Crystal and Josh Gad. Bastin also founded STO-CPH, one of Sweden’s most acclaimed television production companies. In 2007, Bastin sold STO-CPH to Shine and remained as CEO and Creative Director until 2010 before becoming partner at Fabrik Entertainment.
