Half Yard Productions, creators of Say Yes to the Dress – the long-running and successful bridal fashion show – has been commissioned by Discovery’s HGTV to produce new spin-off series Say Yes to the Nest.

Say Yes to the Nest is a home-improvement version of the popular Say Yes franchise, and will follow couples looking for a new home. The first six episodes will premiere in March 2019 on HGTV.

TLC has also announced that Say Yes to the Dress will return for Season 16 on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 8 pm, helping more brides to find their dream wedding dress.

Half Yard were commissioned by Discovery in October to revive classic home makeover format While You Were Out for TLC and HGTV audiences, the first crossover series among Discovery networks following its takeover of Scripps.

Say Yes to the Nest follows different newlyweds on their journey to finding and purchasing their first shared home. A significant milestone for any couple, this show not only offers insight into what a couple is looking for in a home, but it also provides an inside look at the dynamics of their relationship as they begin to lay the foundation for a “nest” of their own.

Say Yes to the Dress returns to Kleinfeld Bridal, which recently wrapped one of its biggest bridal seasons to date, and the show welcomes back Randy Fenoli on the heels of a successful debut of his eponymous bridal collection. This season promises lots of surprises, ranging from a bride looking for a “dark fairy” dress, to a bride who is hopeful that she will walk down the aisle with her fiancé after he was proclaimed paralyzed from an injury; and some of the celebrity brides include Prince’s former bass player Nik West, singer and actress Sabrina Bryan and “bionic model” Rebekah Marine.
