Gravitas Ventures (a Red Arrow studios company), a global independent film distributor, has named industry veteran Alyson Stewart to the new position of SVP of Sales and Strategy. Stewart, who will report directly to Gravitas Ventures CEO Nolan Gallagher, will be responsible for business development, strategic growth opportunities, and partnerships.

Alyson brings a unique breadth of experience across content types, business models and distribution platforms.”
Stewart joins Gravitas from Mediamorph where she served as SVP of Sales. Prior to Mediamorph, Stewart spent twelve years at Vubiquity where she worked most recently on the senior leadership team as SVP of Strategic Sales Development. Stewart was part of the original TVN team that grew the VOD licensing and services business into the industry leader of VOD content and platforms in North America over the past decade.

Stewart, who also previously held distribution sales roles with Turner Networks, Weather Channel, Starz and Wink Interactive, has started her new position with Gravitas.
