Redseven Entertainment has landed four nominations at this year’s German TV Awards (Der Deutscher Fernsehpreis). Red Arrow’s distributor Red Arrow Studios International is also representing three other shows with nominations.

Married at First Sight (Hochzeit auf den ersten Blick), produced by Redseven for SAT.1, is nominated for both Best Factual Entertainment, and Best Editing for editor Bettinga Böttger. The sixth season of Married at First Sight in Germany aired last Fall, and is a format created by Snowman Productions and distributed by Red Arrow Studios International.

Also nominated in the Best Factual Entertainment category is Redseven’s Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds (Wir sind klein und ihr seid alt). The second season of this ratings hit, based on the multi-award-winning format from CPL Productions and distributed by Red Arrow Studios International, aired on VOX earlier this year.

Queen of Drags is nominated in the Best Entertainment Reality category. The Redseven show for ProSieben, featuring Heidi Klum, Conchita Wurst and Bill Kaulitz, sees ten drag queens move into a luxury villa in Los Angeles and stage a variety show each week to compete for the title of ‘Queen of Drags.’

Elsewhere, Red Arrow Studios International format Beat the Channel (Joko & Klaas gegen ProSieben and Joko & Klaas LIVE) is nominated for Best Entertainment Show. The show, produced by Florida Entertainment, recently ended its third high rating season on ProSieben and has already been recommissioned for a fourth season.

Also Red Arrow Studios International’s new comedy series Think Big, produced by ITV Studios for SAT.1, and Ms. Jordan (Frau Jordan stellt gleich), produced for ProSieben and Joyn by W & B Television and SevenPictures Film, are both nominated in the Best Comedy Series category. Ms. Jordan is also nominated in for Best Fiction Book.

The German TV Awards are one of Germany’s most prestigious TV awards, and the winners will be announced in mid-June.
