Global format Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds, produced by CPL Productions for Channel 4 in the UK, has won the Televisual Bulldog Award for Factual Entertainment for a second consecutive year.

Organized by Televisual, theTelevisual Bulldog Awards are voted for by Televisual readers and recognize the TV shows, production companies and channels they rate most highly. Televisual will soon hold a party for the winners at The Hotel Cafe Royal Pompadour Ballroom in London.

The show returned to Channel 4 in the UK in late 2018 for its second season, becoming the best performing show of the day and doubling Channel 4’s average daytime share.

Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds has won a number of international awards including Best New Format at the Realscreen Awards, Best Original Programme at the Broadcast Awards, Best Popular Factual Series at the Edinburgh TV Awards, Best Factual Entertainment and Best Brand Driven Format at the International Format Awards, and Best Constructed Documentary Series at the Grierson Awards. It was also nominated for a 2018 BAFTA award, and was recently nominated for its second Edinburgh TV Award.
