They’re old. They’re rude. They’re funny. And now, “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” are heading for Television New Zealand. Yesterday, Betty and her fearless band of senior citizens started pranking unsuspecting youngsters on TV2. For her outstanding performance, Betty White is nominated for an Emmy Award as Best Host.

“TV2 is the home of comedy and we can’t wait for New Zealanders to fall in love with the antics of Betty White and her friends in Betty White’s Off Their Rockers,” says John Kelly, TV2 Programmer.

Yan He, Regional Sales Director New Zealand at Red Arrow International says “Betty White is a true icon and is known for her charm and sense of humor all over the world. Now, it is time for the New Zealanders to witness her and her gang in action.”

Increasing its week-by-week viewers by up to 15% in the commercial target group (18-49) on NBC, the network ordered a second season. “Betty White’s Off Their Rockers” is based on International Emmy Award and Rose d’Or winning comedy “Benidorm Bastards” which has already been sold to more than 20 countries.
